GT fans around the world will have plenty of opportunities to watch the highly anticipated Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour with a comprehensive broadcast package confirmed for the opening round of SRO Motorsport Group’s global Intercontinental GT Challenge.
More than 25 hours of combined broadcast and streaming coverage will make up the jam-packed schedule, with both Fox Sports and the Seven Network to spearhead the broadcast in addition to streaming via Kayo Sports and 7plus Sport in Australia.
Beginning from Saturday at 1pm AEDT, the broadcast will feature qualifying, two support races and the fight for Pirelli Pole in the Top 10 Shootout, with the prestigious Allan Simonsen Trophy up for grabs.
Race day coverage begins at 5:30am AEDT on Sunday, February 2 and will cover the entire 12 hour duration of the race, plus the post-race podium presentation.
Viewers in New Zealand can watch the action via Sky Sport NZ, while only Friday and Saturday’s practice sessions will be streamed live on SRO’s GTWorld YouTube and the Bathurst 12 Hour's social media channels.
International audiences can also watch through the GTWorld YouTube Channel and the Bathurst 12 Hour social channels.
Streaming coverage begins at 8:35am AEDT on Friday and 7:50am AEDT on Saturday.
Regular event commentator Richard Craill will be joined by international caller John Hindhaugh and five-time Bathurst 1000 winner Garth Tander in the commentary box and Shea Adam and Chad Neylon in pit lane.
The opening round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge at the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour will be held on January 31-February 2.
