Fresh from being announced as a Mercedes-AMG Junior Driver for 2025, Jayden Ojeda will once again team up alongside Paul Lucchitti in the Tigani Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO GT for the 2025 GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS.
Following a remarkable rise up the ranks over the past few years, Ojeda was rewarded with the position at Mercedes-AMG in December last year - making him the only driver on the grid in the Australasian region associated with the international brand.
Part of that rise was a successful domestic campaign with Lucchitti and Tigani Motorsport in GT World Challenge Australia, where the pair picked up a race win on home soil and a pair of podiums throughout the season.
Having entered both the Endurance and Sprint Cups last year, Lucchitti and Ojeda enjoyed a runner-up finish during the opening round at Phillip Island before finishing on the podium again at Queensland Raceway.
Their most telling moment from the season came at Sydney Motorsport Park where they claimed a hard-fought victory in an entertaining three-hour endurance race under the lights of Sydney Motorsport Park.
Smart strategy helped the pair secure the win during a chaotic outing in wet conditions, which led them to place second on the overall GT World Challenge Australia Endurance Cup Pro-Am standings.
Outside of GT World Challenge Australia, Ojeda had a stellar year across a range of domestic and international categories, including Intercontinental GT Challenge, GT World Challenge Asia powered by AWS and Supercars.
As for Lucchitti, the Am driver continues to develop in the championship having first entered in 2023 having previously contested a number of national categories.
Ojeda, Lucchitti and Tigani Motorsport begin their second GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS campaign together at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit as part of the Shannons SpeedSeries GT Festival Phillip Island on April 4-6.
Tickets for the season opener are now on sale and can be purchased via motorsporttickets.com.au.
