GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS’ final session of the day proved an interrupted affair as heavy rain prevented most teams from getting in a large amount of laps during Pre-Qualifying.
In the end, it was Broc Feeney and Brad Schumacher in the Team MPC Audi R8 LMS EVO II who posted the fastest lap of the session as their fastest time of 1m23.029 seconds was more than one second faster than any other driver.
In second place after just four completed laps was Jayden Ojeda in the Realta /Tigani Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, while new driver Aaron Love was third fastest in the Arise Racing GT Ferrari 296 GT3 - the West Australian half a second off Ojeda.
Paul Stokell was the only Trophy Class driver to go out on track for the session, posting a time of 1m 28.121s in the Team MPC Audi R8 LMS he shares with Garry Higgon, while fellow Team MPC driver Renee Gracie went fastest in the Am Cup - her last lap of 1:34.407 put her 13 seconds ahead of the 111 Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO of Darren Currie and Grant Donaldson.
